Ages 9-16 Meets: 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Our Junior Lifeguard Program serves participants aged 9-16. No experience is necessary besides a strong swimming ability. We offer a two-week program with a focused curriculum on Beach and Ocean Safety, advanced ocean activity swimming techniques, beach related first aid and CPR, team building activities, wave riding (body surfing, body boarding, surfing), lifeguard rescue techniques, moderate physical fitness and exercise, lifeguarding equipment, competitions, free diving, marine environment lessons, and of course: FUN!

Refund requests will be accepted (all requests must be in writing) from date of purchase/registration to 30 calendar days before the scheduled session begins. A written request received inside this timeline will receive a full refund, minus the $50.00 cancellation fee per request.
If the refund is received within 29 days of the start date of the session, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
The dates listed below will be the last day to recieve a refund for the listed SBJG Session:
Junior Lifeguards 1A/1P and Groms 1A/1P ----- Monday, May 13th, 2024
Junior Lifeguards 2A/2P and Groms 2A/2P ----- Monday, May 27th, 2024
Junior Lifeguards 3A/3P and Groms 3A/3P ----- Monday, June 10th, 2024
Junior Lifeguards 4A/4P and Groms 4A/4P ----- Monday, June 24th, 2024
THIS CANCELLATION POLICY WILL BE IMPOSED ON ALL REFUND REQUESTS RECEIVED BY THE SOLANA BEACH JUNIOR LIFEGUARD PROGRAM. The City of Solana Beach may make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
