About This Activity
Description
Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills: Swim, float, swim - sequencing front glide,roll, back float, roll, front glide, and exit; and Jump, push, turn, grab.
Please bring swim suit and towel for your child. If your child is not potty trained, please make sure you purchase swim diapers for them to wear.
NO REFUNDS OR MAKEUPS WILL BE PROVIDED IF YOU MISS A CLASS. A credit toward another YMCA program is given when a participant drops a class for a medical reason. A doctor’s note is required to receive the credit and the amount will be prorated. The YMCA will not issue credits based on a participant’s inability to attend a program or class. Neither refunds nor credits will be issued when classes are canceled due to severe weather or other conditions. Refunds are not issued for discrepancies of more than 90 days. Please check your statements regularly.
