About This Activity
An introduction to the fundamentals of sailing, ages 9-12 Students will sail in a Hartley 10 while learning about sailboat parts and sailing terminology. They will begin to identify wind direction and points of sail. It is critical that students gain a full understanding of these fundamentals prior to moving on to more advanced course programs. It is typical for students to retake this course several times, over several seasons. Successful completion of All skills is required to move into any of our next programs.
