Description
Become a highly trained lifeguard through the American Red Cross.
NTPRD will be offering an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class for those looking to work at Splash Zone for the 2026 season. Fees include Pre-course requirement assessment*, online training course and in person water classes.All registered participants must complete the following:Online Coursework - May 4 - 10Information will be given after registration and application for employment is on file.
Pre-Course Assessment & first class* May 11 @ 4:30pm-150 yard swim, tread water for 2 minutes without the use of hands and swim an additional 150 yards- 10 lb. brick retrieval from deep water in less than 1 min 40 sec- ability to lift 50 lb. unaided- must be free from physical and mental impairments that would limit from accomplishing specific tasks such as visual acuity and various audio ranges*If participant is unable to complete pre-course assessment as assigned and must withdraw from class , a refund of $150 will be issued.
In Person Classes - Must attend all classes to complete certificationBring multiple towels and snack.Monday, May 11 - Friday, May 154:30 - 7:30pm

Special Events / Single Day Events / Instructor Provided Classes
All customer-initiated program / activity withdrawals are entitled to receive a household credit for the program fee minus a 15% processing fee if requested prior to the original registration deadline as published in activity guide. After registration deadline, no refund or credit will be issued.
NTPRD reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program / activity upon which the customer is entitled to a full refund of the program fee in the form of a check or household credit.
NTPRD is not responsible for technical difficulties or disturbances before, during or after video, virtual classes or posting of programs
