About This Activity
Description
Ages 5-12. In this class, students add bilateral breathing to arm strokes and are also introduced to backstroke skills. They build endurance with kicks which assist in the development of freestyle and backstroke in shallow and deep water. Prerequisites: Students must perform freestyle arm strokes with kicks for 10 yards, elementary backstroke with kicks for 10 yards, and swim-roll-swim between freestyle arm strokes and elementary backstroke with kicks.No Lessons 5/26
