Ages 3-4. This class introduces new body positions to floats and kicks. Students will practice independent forward movement using kicks and glides in the front and back positions. They will learn how to effectively roll in the water from one position to another, a key to learning the swim-roll-swim technique. We will build on water safety skills and introduce new ones. Prerequisites: Students must be able to perform starfish front and back floats unassisted, begin kicks with floats, and jump in and recover for air.Sub-Category
