In this one-week session, intermediate students are introduced to sailing a keelboat, a J-24 sailboat. Students are introduced to trimming sails with a winch, tracking a course with a compass, and flying a spinnaker. Due to the size of the boat, this class is limited to a maximum of three students, offering a great opportunity to learn under close instructor supervision. To take this class, students must be at least thirteen years old, have completed at least one Learn to Sail--Club 420 class, and have the approval of the SJJF Executive Director. Please email our Director at schooldirector@sjjf.org for more information. Prerequisite(s): 13 years old minimum, Learn to Sail, Introduction to Keelboat Sailing, SJJF Executive Director Approval Racing is offered: four-day, one-week format
