The Penn State Boys Soccer Middle School Elite Camp is designed for players who are serious about preparing to play at the high school level. The camp is structured to give serious players an opportunity to improve their technical and tactical abilities in practice and game situations. Players will have an opportunity to be coached and evaluated by the Penn State coaching staff, as well as other visiting college coaches. Players will receive both specific technical instruction along with principles of play that will help them improve quickly. The players are grouped according to ability, experience, maturity, and competitive spirit. The Penn State coaching staff will provide 11 v 11 and small-sided games, training sessions and tactical instruction comparable to what varsity college soccer players experience daily. Goalkeeping Instruction Goalkeeping instruction is under the direct supervision of Penn State's goalkeeper coach. The participants receive advanced specialized coaching and have match-related practice sessions.
