About This Activity
Class Description: All Day Art Adventures provide full-day creative engagement, exploration and fun. Kids will keep the right side of their brain engaged on the days out of school with activities for creativity, outdoor exploration, homework time and imaginative play. Please send your camper wearing a face mask and with a water bottle, snacks and lunch, and clothes prepared for outside adventures in all weather and messy activities. Classes are designed for grades K-3rd. Partial and full scholarships are available - email sylvie@steamboatcreates.org before registering to apply. Teachers: Sylvie Piquet is the program director at Steamboat Creates. As a former preschool teacher and camp director, Sylvie has developed a deep love of teaching young students how to tap into their creativity and inspiration and how to be their best selves. Sylvie is also a yoga instructor with a background in teaching yoga and mindfulness to children. Jan Rastall is a local painter and teacher at Kids Kabin Preschool. She has a passion for inspiring young ones to exercise their creativity and promote budding artists to hone their skills and pursue lifelong artistry. Jan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters in Education.
