Class Description: The art of printmaking provides endless space for creativity! Students will learn multiple aspects of printmaking from a master printer, including etching, woodblock, linocut, and monotypes. This camp will be held at the Oehme Graphics Studio, where students will learn about the equipment, tools and supplies from an internationally collected master printer at her professional print studio. *$40 materials fee is required for this special camp that requires top-quality materials **$30 facility fee is required for this off-site camp held at Oehme Graphics Studio ***This is an off-site camp. Parents/Guardians are asked to drop off and pick up their children from the class location - Oehme Graphics 2655 Copper Ridge Circle, Unit #1** Teacher: Susan Hover Oehme, Master Printer, received her BFA in printmaking and painting from the University of Michigan, School of Art in Ann Arbor. She has been a life-long artist and won several grants early in her career, including a best-of-show for a 10 foot long lithograph, that enabled her to purchase her first printing press, which she then dragged around the country for twenty-odd years. Before launching Oehme Graphics in 2010, she held the title of Director/Vice President of Riverhouse Editions in Steamboat Springs, CO from 1996 through 2010.
