About This Activity
Embark on a journey where students will engage in a variety of hands-on experiments and demonstrations to deepen their understanding of our everyday world and the ocean. They will conduct experiments demonstrating the decomposition of organic matter to release nutrients, simulating processes occurring in soil and water ecosystems. Students will also explore nutrient uptake by plants through a series of interactive experiments, investigating the role of nitrogen-fixing bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi in nutrient acquisition. we will all investigate the effects of nutrient pollution on aquatic ecosystems, using models to simulate eutrophication and its consequences.
