About This Activity
Description
This activity is closed to further registration.
This program’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of African American communities. One way to achieve this goal is to focus on addressing the social determinants of health and water safety in African American communities. The Making Waves Aquatic Swim Lesson & Water Safety classes will provide youth ages 7-12 of all swimming abilities the foundations of water competency and water safety. Through these lessons, basic swimming and water safety skills will be taught as well as a learn and share group chat about various topics related to swimming and water safety.
