Description
Battle of the Y’s is a signature YGBW basketball tournament bringing together teams for a weekend of competitive play, sportsmanship, and community pride. Designed to elevate the youth sports experience, the tournament emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and positive competition in a high-energy, well-organized environment.
In 2026, Battle of the Y’s will expand to invite YMCAs from across the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware area, creating an even broader stage for friendly rivalry, guaranteed play, and championship-level excitement—rooted in the values and spirit of the Y.
