Description
Baseball and T-Ball Indoor League RulesThe West Fargo Park District is excited to offer a Youth Baseball Program on the indoor turf at the Rustad Recreation Center. The early registration deadline is February 20. After the registration deadline fees will increase.
This program uses the West Fargo Park District blue/white reversible jerseys. Jerseys are required for this program. Please register your child for a jersey using the 5973 code.
Team schedules and team assignments will be emailed out at least a week before the program begins. Team rosters will be assigned according to school attending, please specify the school your child attends or will be attending. Girls and boys will play together. Siblings will be grouped together unless otherwise noted.
During the first two sessions, players will focus on skill development and the rules of the game.
Players should bring their own baseball glove with them to practice every day. Bats will be provided. Helmets are required. Parents are encouraged to bring your own helmet to avoid sharing. Shared helmets will be provided for those that don't have one. Molded cleats or tennis shoes only are allowed on the turf.
Rookies BaseballRookies baseball is for boys and girls. This fun, 8- session league focuses on advancing your skill development and using proper techniques while learning the game of baseball. In this league, a soft baseball will be pitched to players. The use of helmets is required. We strongly recommend for hygienic reasons you bring your own helmet labeled with your child's name. If you don't have a helmet, helmets will be provided. Register according to elementary school they attend.
