Baseball and T-Ball Indoor League Rules
The West Fargo Park District is excited to offer a Youth Baseball Program on the new indoor turf at the Rustad Recreation Center. Space is limited in the Baseball and T-ball programs, so be sure to register early. The early registration deadline is January 24. After the registration deadline fees will increase.Please request an appropriate t-shirt size for your child. We will not have extra shirts to exchange.
Team schedules will be emailed and posted online at wfparks.org by February 25. Team rosters will be assigned according to school attending, please specify the school your child attends or will be attending. Girls and boys will play together. Siblings will only be grouped together if requested on registration form or in notes section for online registration.
During the first two sessions, T-ball players will focus on skill development and the rules of the game.
Players should bring their own baseball glove with them to practice every day. Bats will be provided. Helmets will not be used for Parent Tot Tball. If a parent would like a helmet worn on their child, please bring your own helmet. Molded cleats or tennis shoes only are allowed on the turf.
Parent/Tot T-BallThis program is for 4-year-old boys and girls who want to have fun while learning the basic skills of baseball. Throwing, fielding, running bases and batting will be introduced. Parents will work hands on with their child while being led by a qualified instructor. The use of helmets for this program is not required. You may bring your own helmet if you'd like, but please label the helmet with your child's name. Participants must be 4 years old by March 5, no exceptions. Register according to elementary school they plan to attend in 1st grade.
