Description
The West Fargo Park District is proud to be part of the FM Youth Basketball League, which consist of over 100 teams from the FMWF area and surrounding communities. This program seeks to develop and promote the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development with an emphasis on having fun. Player evaluations will be completed during the first week, with team assignments and schedules emailed to parents following evaluations.TRAVEL IS REQUIRED FOR THIS PROGRAM. TEAMS MAY TRAVEL AS FAR AS VALLEY CITY OR HAWLEY DEPEDNING ON THEIR TEAM'S GAME SCHEDULE. Practices will take place in West Fargo.
PRACTICES VARY DEPENDING ON TEAM - Two - 50-Minute PRACTICES PER WEEK. Mon, Tue, or Thu.
2 games on Saturdays starting October 24th. 6 weekends of games total.
PLAYER EVALUATIONS ARE SEPTEMBER 28th & 29th.
Please request a jersey and short size on the registration form (jersey bottoms tend to run large). Jerseys will be handed out before the first game. Teams will be limited to 10 max per team. Carpooling requests are not available for this program.
Volunteer coaches are needed! We would not be able to offer this program without the help of volunteer coaches. Please indicated on the form or online registration that you would be interested in being a coach. Background checks will be completed on all volunteer coaches.
Before registering, please confirm your email address is correct with WFParks as we send important information about the league through ACTIVE.net (please check spam mail as well). Team assignment and practice schedule will be emailed by Friday, October 4th.
We are no longer able to take pre-formed teams.
