About This Activity
Description
This is an introduction to traveling softball program, which will offer station-based skill development & games against local communities. Additional aspects of the game are introduced, including developing pitching and catcher’s skills. All teams will practice together for an hour and a half on Mondays and play their games on Wednesdays. The first few weeks of the season prior to games starting, will consist of practices on both Mondays 5:30-7pm and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm. Teams will be determined after the first few practices. Games are tentatively scheduled to start the 2nd week in June.
Registration fee includes a team visor. Athletes are responsible for purchasing their own sliding pants, socks & belt. All athletes will receive a jersey to be worn for games during the season.
Coaches Meeting will be held at 6:00pm on April 22 at WS Rec.
PRACTICES:
1st practice: Mon. May 4, 5:30-7pm @ Christ-St. John’s Lutheran School
GAMES:
Wednesdays in June & July; Specific schedule will be handed out
SITES:
Practice: 5:30-7pm at Christ-St. John’s Lutheran School - 500 Park St.
Games: Christ-St. John’s and surrounding local communities
GRADES:
MUST be in 2nd grade for the current 2025-26 school year
REGISTER BY 4/10:
$60 Village Res. / $65 School Dist. / $70 Out of Dist.
LATE REGISTRATION 4/11-4/17:
$80 Village Res. / $85 School Dist. / $90 Out of Dist.
Must be in 2nd grade for the current 2025-2026 school year!
Participants must be registered and paid for prior to their first practice.Registration is NOT guaranteed after 4/10/26 or once a team is full.
