About This Activity
Description
This NEW course is designed for children aged 2-5 to creatively explore artistic mediums! Through guided exploration of a variety of artistic mediums, young children will have the opportunity to express themselves, experiment with materials, and develop early creative confidence in a supportive and playful environment. Each 45-minute class features 4–5 themed craft stations that encourage children to explore paint, glue, glitter, textures, and other sensory-rich materials. Rather than focusing on a finished product, this program emphasizes the process of creating—allowing children to explore freely, make choices, and discover new ways to use materials at their own pace.
An adult is required to attend and encouraged to participate alongside their child, making this program a wonderful opportunity for meaningful bonding. Parents, guardians, grandparents, and caregivers are encouraged to assist with crafts, share in the creative process, and enjoy quality one-on-one time together. Creating art side-by-side strengthens relationships, supports social development, and helps children feel safe and encouraged as they try new activities.
Be prepared to get messy! Many activities involve paint, glue, and other fun but messy materials. Please dress for mess—smocks are welcomed but not provided. A sink and paper towels will be available for hand washing and clean-up.
