From Pong to Pacman and from Mario to Megaman, arcade games have introduced the world to countless iconic characters and styles of video games. In this educational program, students will learn coding basics through the context of building their own retro 2D video games. Whether it's sprites, pixels and controllers or loops, logic and conditionals, students will be developing key concepts while building a video game they can play and share. In order to develop a video game, students should bring or rent a laptop or Chromebook. No experience is required.
