Educational research supports play as one of the best ways for young children to learn. At Project Play, we seek to live out this research by supporting play around engaging, creative questions and explorations. Join us! Project Play offers children ages three and four the opportunity to learn as they play in an inviting, joyful environment with… -warm, experienced teachers that will support and deepen playful learning -exciting and developmentally appropriate learning spaces, including time exploring nature and outdoor spaces on Summit's campus -high-quality materials and art media, like clay, paint, natural materials, fabric, and more Sign up for more than one week. Each session will emphasize different topics and materials and be led by a variety of teaching teams. Children must be toilet trained. If children are not able to successfully and independently use the bathroom at camp, parents may be asked to pick up their child. Della Hinman is excited about her seventh Summit Summer season! Della holds an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest and a Master’s of Education from the University of Colorado Denver. As designer and director of Summit's Early Childhood camps and a camp leader, Della loves the opportunity to support teachers and come alongside young children with their wonder, joy, and creativity.
