About This Activity
Description
In this class we take a deep dive into Life Sciences and cover the entire plant life cycle. We start from soil mixes, to seeds, to sprouts, to full plants, to harvesting the plants, to building pollinator houses and garden art. It’s a full urban garden experience! Through the projects, Makers learn about hydroponics and greenhouses and compare the different methods of growing. We also create fresh “Farm to Table” dishes where we take locally harvested fruits and spices or harvested grains to create delicious foods.A material fee of $100 is payable to the instructor at the first-class meeting.Bring a sack lunch/snack.
