About This Activity
Try Out a Free Swim Taster Session! This session offers a chance for children to experience the Junior Triathlon swim program and develop key triathlon swim skills in a fun and supportive environment. The taster session will focus on essential skills such as open water techniques, sighting, breathing, and body position, providing a taste of what the full program offers. This session is open to children who meet the following criteria: - Must be able to swim 100m (preferably front crawl). - Must have passed ASA Stage 6 or be part of the York Sport Swim Scheme. Pool Guidelines To ensure smooth running of the session: - Parents are kindly asked not to enter poolside. - Please arrive ready for the session. - Bring a labelled water bottle for hydration during the session. - Don’t forget your swim hat if you have long hair and your goggles. Spaces are limited, so book now to let your child experience the excitement of triathlon swimming!
