About This Activity
Description
The Junior Lifeguard Program is designed to introduce youth, ages 10 – 14 years, to American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguard standards and skills. The Junior Lifeguard Program builds a foundation of knowledge, aptitudes, and skills for young teens interested in a career as a lifeguard or first responder. This course certifies participants in basic CPR/First Aid (not ARC Lifeguarding). Participants should bring a swim suit, towel, tennis shoes, workout clothes, and plenty of water. REFUNDS/CREDITS WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR JUNIOR GUARD PROGRAMS.
