About This Activity
Create unique and fabulous works of art, including mixed-media wearable art that tells a story! We’ll look at animals, nature, and artists as inspiration for colorful works on fabric. Express yourself through hands-on projects that incorporate block printing and monotype on fabric, embroidery, sun printing and painting on fabric, and screenprinting. We’ll practice drawing from life, design patterns, and learn about textiles and simple artmaking techniques using paint, ink, fabric markers, and more. Create unique long-lasting works of art in the spirit of expressing yourself in wearable art!
