M/T/W day program, 9 a,m. to 3 p.m. Arrive at 9 a.m. on Thursday, camp on the land and depart at 9 a.m. Friday. Participants must have attended at least two prior sessions of Merrohawke in advance. Farm-to-table: We'll enjoy herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers cultivated in our gardens, and we'll make tools useful to the camp kitchen. This week will build upon the skills learned in Earth Skills. We'll spend days throughout the week learning about the land that we are on, and how to use the resources that the land has to offer. We will be whittling and carving, hiking, and spending time in the gardens and food forest. Ultimately, we'll be making useful items from the materials on the land to have for our use during the overnight. This could look like baskets, matts, utensils, bowls, etc. We'll also be sure to leave plenty of time to just be and experience nature in all her beauty. Earth Skills Overnight fee includes Thursday dinner & Friday breakfast.
