In order to participate in Shark Lessons, students MUST have passed the Seal level AND be able to:- Freestyle & Backstroke for 25 yards with streamline dolphin kicks off wall- Breaststroke for at least 25 yards (1 lap)- Perform a standing dive into swim
In the Shark level, students will polish strokes to swim with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over great distances.
The following skills must be met in order to pass the Shark level.
- Swim 50 yards Freestyle & Backstroke with streamline dolphin kicks off wall- Swim 25 yards of Breaststroke with pull down off wall- Swim 10 yards of Butterfly with streamline dolphin kicks off wall- Tread water for at least 3 minutes- Perform racing dive into swim
