The Junior Lifeguard Prep course is an excellent way for participants to prepare for this season's local Junior Lifeguard try-outs. Experienced Instructor Lifeguards will train participants through a 60-minute conditioning workout developed to meet and exceed try-out testing requirements.
The class meets four times a week, on Mondays through Thursdays, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM for four (4) weeks at the Downtown Aquatic Center. Two sessions available.
NO CLASS ON 02/15.
PRE-REQUISITES:
AGES 7-8: Participants must be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle or be at/above American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 3 (or its equivalent).
AGES 9-15: Participants must be able to swim 100 yards of freestyle or be at/above American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 4 (or its equivalent).

Notes:
- Appropriate swimsuit must be worn during class; no street clothes, undergarments, or sportswear allowed.
- It is recommended that long hair be pulled back with a hair tie and covered with a swim cap.

The use of swim goggles is highly recommended.
- Application of sunscreen 20 minutes prior to class is highly recommended.
- Please bring a towel and a change of warm, dry clothes if desired.
All classes have a minimum enrollment requirement. NO transfers or refunds permitted unless the spot can be filled from the waitlist. Cancellation fee is $20.00, transfer fee is $10.00. Concurrent enrollment in multiple classes may not be available. NO CLASS: 2/15
