Description
Danville Wave Riders Camp is designed to provide swim instruction, water safety, physical conditioning, and basic lifeguarding skills. In this class, you will learn valuable skills that will bring you back one day to be a Town of Danville lifeguard.To participate, you must demonstrate swimming skills, including front crawl, back crawl, & elementary backstroke for 100 continuous yards, breaststroke for 50 yards, butterfly for 25 yards, shallow angle dives, and tread water for 30 seconds. There will be a swim test on the first day of camp. If a participant cannot pass the swim test, we will have to withdraw the participant from the program to keep all participants and staff safe.
