Level 1 is for children aged 6–12 with limited swimming experience who need water assistance and is equivalent to Preschool Aquatics A & B. Classes are 30 minutes, held Monday–Thursday, with a 1:5 instructor-to-student ratio. If a class is full, join the waitlist in case openings occur. To graduate, swimmers must complete all skills on their Lesson Certificate, including traveling five feet, bobbing three times, and treading water for 15 seconds without assistance.
To graduate from this level, your child must complete all the skills mentioned on their Lesson Certificate and demonstrate the culminating skill assessment, which includes traveling 5 feet, bobbing three times, and treading water for at least 15 seconds without assistance.
