10 sessions x 1 Hour Wednesday - March 12, 19, 26 | April 2, 16, 23, 30 | May 7, 14, 21 Whose line is it, anyway? It's yours! Get creative, make new friends, and have a blast in The After-School Improv Club! Improvisation is theater without a script. You’ll learn the basics of improvisational theater and, in no time flat, you’ll be making up silly stories, creating outrageous characters and improvising hysterical scenes and sketches. We'll learn all of the classic "short form" structures that you've seen on the TV show "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" and several that you've never seen before. Improv isn’t only fun, it also builds confidence, enhances communication and public presentation skills, and develops creativity, skills that benefit students far beyond the stage. The workshop culminates in a special performance of improvised scenes and sketches for an invited audience, giving students the chance to shine and share their accomplishments.
