To participate in the recertification course participants must possess a Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid (current certification or certification expired by no more than 30 days). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid valid for 2 years.
Class duration will depend upon enrollment, although please be prepared to be present for the entirety of the time outlined if needed. 100% attendance is required to be eligible to pass.
Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please ensure you meet all eligibility requirements and are completely confident in your ability to pass the pre-requisite swim test and perform required skills to standard with little coaching, as dues paid will be forfeited for those who do not pass the course.
