About This Activity
Description
For Rising 5th - 8th Graders (Child's Grade in 2023-2024 School Year)
MetaMedia is the Y's out-of-school space designed with and for current and rising middle school youth. STEAM programming is led by caring mentors and students are given a chance to explore their passions.
In this McGaw YMCA MetaMedia Meets Camp program, rising 5th and 6th graders will have the opportunity to explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) enrichment in outdoor spaces with local community experts and partners.
Campers will participate in enrichment activities such as local field trips, roller skating, sports, building and construction, art making and more!
MetaMedia Meets Camp will take place Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
We offer flexible options for families registering for Summer Day Camp and MetaMedia Meets Camp. Register for the full 9 weeks of summer, or choose individual weeks. Sign up by May 15 to get the best rates. Rates are discounted for McGaw Y members! Plus, the more weeks you register for as a member, the more you save!
