Camp Latona's Adventure Camp offers an unforgettable 5-night and 6-day experience filled with excitement, learning, and adventure. Situated in the scenic north end of Gambier Island in Howe Sound, this camp provides a perfect backdrop for campers to explore and connect with nature. Throughout their stay, campers will engage in a diverse range of activities designed to challenge them, build their confidence, and foster teamwork and friendship. High and Low Ropes Courses: Campers will test their limits and overcome obstacles on our high and low ropes courses. These activities are designed to develop trust, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Participants will work together to navigate the challenges, encouraging each other along the way. Water Activities: Our camp is surrounded by beautiful waters, making it an ideal location for a variety of water-based activities: • Tubing: Experience the thrill of riding the waves on an inflatable tube. • Kayaking and Canoeing: Paddle through the serene waters, exploring the coastline and observing marine life. • Waterskiing, Kneeboarding, and Wakeboarding: For those seeking an adrenaline rush, these activities provide an exhilarating way to enjoy the water. • Swimming: Cool off and have fun in our safe swimming areas. Arts and Crafts: Creativity is encouraged through our arts and crafts sessions. Campers can express themselves by making unique projects that they can take home as souvenirs of their time at camp. Out Trip Adventure: One of the highlights of Adventure Camp is the out trip, where campers will camp out overnight! During this trip, they will practice Leave No Trace principles, learning to minimize their impact on the environment. Join us for archery, campwide games, traditional campfires and a summer full of friendship and fun!
