About This Activity
Description
Experience an individual sport that has been around for centuries and one of the newest and up-and-coming individual sports in the world in this exciting camp! Youngsters will be introduced to pickleball stroke fundamentals such as serving, lobbing, smashing, volleying, and dinking. Fun and challenging drills and recreational matches will help young players develop the hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and mental abilities needed for successful pickleball games. Instructors will also teach campers the essentials of target archery such as range safety, equipment use, and technique. Fun archery games will be played to practice technique. Our goal is to have each child leave camp with the knowledge and confidence to continue their interest in the sports of archery and pickleball. Equipment will be provided.
