This class will teach lifeguarding responsibilities and rescue skills. It also includes CPR, AED, and First Aid training. Participants who successfully complete the course, both the online and in-person portions, will be certified StarGuard Elite Lifeguards.Students enrolled in this activity must complete an online component before the first day of in-person sessions. A link will be emailed to the participant email address provided during the registration process approximately two weeks prior to the first meeting date. Students who do not complete the online portion before in-person sessions begin will be turned away. All class dates are mandatory, and students should be prepared to swim each day
Pre-requisite skills include a 100-yard swim using freestyle and breaststroke, a surface dive to a depth of 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object, and a two minute, timed, deep-water tread without the use of hands.
Students must be 16 years old unless previously enrolled in a Junior Lifeguard Program. 15-year-old participants may be removed from the class if registering without approval.

A transfer or refund (minus the non-refundable fee) will be provided up to seven days before the start of the activity.
*Non-Refundable Fees: All activities have an administrative fee included in the listed price (unless otherwise stated). This fee ranges from $2 to $10 per activity and is non-refundable.
