he Girls’ Development camp is designed to emphasize individual hockey skills and team play concepts. Participants are divided into teams and compete against a new team each day. Each ice session has 2 coaches and is supervised by 2 team coaches. We pride ourselves on providing a total camp experience not just focusing on hockey. Each team has 4 on-ice sessions and 2 hour off-ice activities. On-ice activities include skating development, skills session, team concepts, and a nightly scrimmage to practice the skills learned throughout the day. Our off-ice activities include pool time, team building activities, and cross training with different sports. At the end of the week each camper gets a take home packet with a detailed skating evaluation designed to give the camper things to work on during the year. Campers also get test results from all on/off-ice testing done throughout the week. Teen camp participants will get a college guide, a NCAA rules and eligibility guide, and a pre-developed exercise routine based off of the Miami Hockey team.
