Supplies1 of 9
You will need:
-Two or more empty egg cartons
-One cereal box
-Ribbon or twine
Step 12 of 9
Think through how you want your wreath to look. Do you want leaves? Flowers of all colors? Visualize your design before you start cutting.
Step 23 of 9
To create leaves, cut up the egg carton lid into your preferred leaf shape.
Step 34 of 9
Next, carefully cut out each individual egg carton. To create the flower shape, cut four slits down each corner to the flat base. Trim each section to look like a petal.
Step 45 of 9
Paint time! Break out green for your leaves (or orange and brown for an autumn wreath) and a variety of bright options for your flowers. Set aside to dry.
Step 56 of 9
Cut out a ring from your cereal box or other cardboard object. Glue (or staple) a sturdy string or ribbon to the back of the wreath to help hang it.
Step 67 of 9
When your paint is dry, you can draw extra details on the leaves in a marker, if you want. Or, add yellow paint to the center of your flowers.
Step 78 of 9
Glue your leaves and flowers to your wreath back. Let dry, then hang on your door!
