About This Activity
Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Sunday, March 31, 2024.
Nothing But Net (NBN) Basketball Shooting Academies are focused on the development of ball handling skills specific to shooting. NBN’s elite coaching staff created drills that will take each athlete’s shooting abilities to the next level. Fundamentals and techniques focus on good shooting form using the BEEF acronym: Balance. Eyes. Elbow. Follow-Through. This provides consistent coaching, repetition of skills and additional practice throughout the year. When regularly applied, participants are not only able to utilize these techniques in actual game settings, but the player’s improvement is proven to build confidence on and off the court. Our ultimate goal is the refinement of shooting technique while encouraging the athletes’ desire to play.*Level of Instruction: Intermediate players have been playing longer than one year and enjoy basketball; they can focus for 55 minutes on repetitive skill work. Players are typically looking to play at a more competitive level and participate to focus on specific skill development. Players must work hard and be coachable.
*Please review skill level recommendations closely. Contact Coach Marcus Mason at 303.921.5302 or marcusmason@nbncoaching.com, if you have questions regarding placement.
