Let's stitch! In this club, participants will learn the joy and basics of knitting: casting on, knit stitch, pearl stitch, and casting off. Knit projects include a scarf, hat and felted pot holders. Participants will be offered a variety of yarn options and select the pattern they will wish to knit. Both the adventure and misadventures of knitting include playful curiosity, creative expression, patient problem solving, and commitment to showing up for oneself while encouraging each other in a supportive and relaxed environment. Ji Sun has been knitting on and off since 2001. She loves the meditative ingenuity of knitting and admires all that can be knit! Her most recent project was knitting a tiny stuffed hippo, a gift for her nephew. Her next project may be socks! Ji Sun loves the creative challenge and satisfaction of beginning and finishing knit goods and is excited to share the art of do-it-yourself knitting with others who are eager to learn. (Please note: There are no sessions on Feb 19 & Mar 25.)
