About This Activity
GFS’s Day Camp is a 5-week camp designed for children to Explore, Play, Imagine, Create! Every day, campers discover and cultivate their interests, learn new and exciting things through reading and experience, engage in the community surrounding Germantown Friends School, and foster new friendships during the summer. Campers will enjoy different activities in art, science, music, and drama ensuring non-stop excitement and fun. We’ll also explore our community through nature walks, scavenger hunts, and visits with the librarians at our Friends Free Library. Each camp group will have time at our infamous water slide for water play or, weather permitting, trips to Germantown Cricket Club for swimming (for Rising 1st-3rd only)! Campers are grouped by age and are paired with experienced, CPR and First-Aid certified camp staff. Please note: Rising Preschool - Rising Kindergarten campers are required to be incoming or current GFS students. Eligible campers must be 3 years old and fully potty trained by the time they start camp to attend. Students currently enrolled at the Curtis Center location can opt-in to a daily shuttle that will take campers to the Main Campus in Germantown for our Day Camp.
