About This Activity
The Book Splashers camp is all about fostering a love and appreciation for reading! Each day, we'll dive into a different genre, including nonfiction, historical fiction, mystery/science fiction, poetry, and realistic fiction. Activities will include making bookmarks, listening to engaging stories, enjoying independent reading time with a refreshing summer beverage, and more. Led by Mrs. Matal, a seasoned 7th-grade ELA teacher at Ravenscroft with decades of experience inspiring young readers, this camp is perfect for book enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys reading but wants to explore it further.
