About This Activity
Our 'BONJOUR AMIS' 10-week workshop immerses children in the French language & culture through grammar & sentence structure, poetry, music, art projects, story time and class discussions while enabling them to make personal connections that maximize the overall learning experience. By contrasting and comparing, students gain new perspectives through worksheets, pictures, instructional videos, audio CD's, popular songs, games, and YouTube videos to provide a total immersion experience in the French language & culture. This language-based cultural approach to learning ensures students are grasping new language concepts as well as retaining old ones, leading to long term memory retention in the French language. Students are grouped by age & level of language proficiency. This is an intensive 10-week immersion program comprising 1.5 hours each WED with varied enrichment activities spaced out every 20mins for ease of flow. ** IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE BOOK in your possession, you can take it out of your cart before check-out if it is already pre-checked. GainVille will be closed during Columbus Weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, Winter Christmas Holidays and Presidents Day weekend and Easter weekend.
