Confidence breeds success! In any field, whether it is academics, music or sports people who have talent as well as confidence are the ones who become successful. “It is as important to be convincing as it is to be right.” Students learn to present with confidence, use emotion, and connect with the audience fluently by doing narratives, news reporting, campaign speeches, tongue-twisters, debates, and town hall presentations on thought-provoking and interesting topics! We make it a fun learning environment where everyone can participate, the shy students and talkative ones alike will benefit and learn from this class.
Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
If a class is cancelled, the makeup session will be tentatively scheduled one week after the final class date.

Refunds must be made in writing 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
A $10 Processing Fee applies to each activity cancellation requested by the participant.
NO REFUNDS will be made for requests received LESS THAN 14 calendar days prior to the start of the activity.
If your child requires medication during program hours, a Medication Waiver must be completed for them to use the medication and/or receive assistance administering it while in the program. This includes items such as EpiPens, inhalers, and other prescribed medications. If this is not noted under Special Accommodations during registration, please email Krissy Marquez at Christine.marquez@sanjoseca.gov to communicate your child’s medication needs. This is a City-wide policy to ensure the safety and proper care of all participants during program hours.
