Description
In level 1, children learn to enter and exit the water using a ladder, steps or side, to blow bubbles through mouth and nose or bob their head, to open eyes under water and retrieve submerged objects at shallow end. They will learn front and back glides and floats, recover to vertical position and to roll from front to back and back to front, children should begin to develop comfort in the water. Other skills include alternative and simultaneous leg actions and arm actions on front and back, treading water using arm and hand actions and combined arm and leg actions on front and back. Please bring swimsuit, towel, goggles (optional) swim diaper if needed. ** There is no class Thursday June 19th 2025. Make-Up Class Friday June 27th 2025.
