Description
Tennis camp with focus on fundamentals, movement, and biomechanics training. Campers are divided by age and skill level.
Richard Goldenson, camp director and Santa Monica College tennis coach since 2001, has been teaching tennis for Santa Monica since 1996.
Campers should bring a tennis racquet, a healthy snack and lunch, water bottle, hat, and sunscreen. Non-marking rubber-soled shoes are required.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, November 1 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, November 8 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
