Super Soccer Stars teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment. Through an age-specific curriculum, soccer is used to nurture, build self-confidence, and develop teamwork. Low child-to-coach ratios and positive reinforcement ensure that each child improves at their own pace.
Activities are presented using imagery relatable to children at this age to support learning about the body and ball awareness. The primary focus of each 45-minute class is to introduce physical activities, rich language exposure, and movements such as running, hopping and jumping. Classes include fun dribbling and shooting activities to teach positive social interaction and the basic skills of soccer!
Caregiver participation may be required. Players bring their own soccer ball, water bottle, active clothes/shoes to class.
$35 materials fee payable to Super Soccer Stars for soccer jersey - click link below for processing and payment (please disregard class details - registration links are by age/jersey size). Processing time is 2-3 weeks.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
