About This Activity
Description
This class is for participants 16 years and older who would like to become certified as a swimming instructor. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive American Red Cross certifications as a water safety instructor. You must attend all classes listed below to pass this course. In addition to attending all classes, you must also pass all skill tests and score 80% or better on written exams.
Please bring your swim suit and towel to all class dates.

Friday, October 4, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm Pre-course
Saturdays, October 12 and 19, from 9am - 5pm
Sundays, October 13 and 20, from 9am - 5pm

Refund:
A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Request must be made in writing to program supervisor in person or email : aquatics.mailbox@ santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one business day after the first class meeting.
