POLLIWOG: Water Exploration (Learn-to-Swim Level 1) for children 4 years and up This introductory level is the first level in our Learn-to-Swim program. Instructors focus on building students? comfort and independence in the water. Skills taught include: bubble blowing, retrieving submerged objects, front& back glides, front & back kicks and front & back floats. All skills are practiced with the support of an instructor.
In the event that only one student attends class, the class time will be reduced to 20 minutes.
In observance of Yom Kippur, no classes will be held on Saturday, 10/12.
PARKINGParking fees during class times are included when participants register for a full multi-week session of classes. Parking passes will be available to preregistered participants at Guest Services on the first day of each session.
Cancellations and RefundsA $15.00 processing fee for each activity refunded. Requests must be made in writing to the program supervisor, in person, or by e-mail at beach.house@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting.
