Description
Preschool Aquatics 1&2 - Ages 2 to 5yrs old
This class is a combination of preschool aquatics levels 1 and 2 and is a transition between our Parent and Me class and our Learn to Swim program. Participants will develop safe water practices and confidence in and around the water. Participants will work on bubble blowing, floating, kicking and the ability to retrieve a submerged object.
Upon successful completion of Seahorse participants are eligible to enter Sea Dragon or Guppy depending on their age.
Swim assessments to determine the appropriate level for your child are available during our recreational swim hours. If you are new to our program, a swim assessment is strongly encouraged to ensure your child is placed in the right level.
Additionally, with the exception of Parent & Me classes, parents are not allowed in the water for any lesson and are encouraged to remain clear of the lesson area to ensure the quality of each individual lesson. Only those on the instructor’s roster will be permitted in the class and attending a different class time is not permitted. All participants must attend the class and class time in accordance with their original registration unless approved for a transfer to a different class/time.
Those interested in lap swimming during swim lessons must inquire with the front desk prior to entering the water to ensure adequate space and to pay for their swim. There is no recreational swimming during swim lesson hours.
Refunds/Transfers – Refunds and transfer requests must be received within 24 hours of the start of a session and will only be accepted with a completed Transfer/Refund Request Form. This form can be found on our website. Each refund transaction is subject to a $15.00 fee, no exceptions.
Swim lessons will not be held on the following dates for the Summer Session:
