One of the factors that contributes to their healthy longevity are their plant based diets incorporating essential amounts of proteiins, immune supporting herbs, whole grains and nutrient dense vegetables. In this one day hands on outdoor class, we will identify the 5 essential Blue Zone crops to grow and their nutritional importance that fosters longevity. As we plant, we will learn garden companion planting design, succession planting and soil amendments to ensure an abundant and healthy harvest.
